Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Christian Aid South Asia, 2016-2020

RedR India and Christian Aid have a regional MoU for South Asia to support Christian Aid’s humanitarian and DRR work in the region. The MoU contributes to multiple activities of capacity building for humanitarian response and DRR, humanitarian surge, and technical support during the immediate response and early recovery phases. The partnership has enabled work by the two agencies towards fulfilling their respective mandates and working directly with affected communities, at-risk populations and key stakeholders in this sector.

Program Cooperation Agreement (PCA), UNICEF India 2007-2018

RedR India and UNICEF ICO have continued their Programme Cooperation Agreement (PCA) initiated in 2007. RedR India provides surge human resource support, technical support for humanitarian responses and disaster risk reduction actions, capacity building services as well as research and documentation related services under this partnership. The diversity of activities achieved in recent years from the PCA have included three studies on DRR, Jammu and Kashmir flood response, development of the Bihar DRR Roadmap (aligned to Sendai framework), project implementation of Risk-Informed Development Planning in Bihar & Rajasthan, support to ROSA Unicef for roll out on Child-Centered Risk Assessment (CCRA), training with SAARC DM Centre and eventual drafting of the CCRA roadmap for SAARC countries, pilot of a mainstreaming DRR project in Maharashtra, capacity building of multiple stakeholders on risk-informed development planning and mainstreaming of DRR among others.
